B.S., Beihang University, Electronic Information Engineering
Neal received his B.E. degree in Electronic Information Engineering from Beihang University. His research focused on electromagnetic field, wireless technology, modern cryptography, and information security. He designed and tested a fifth-order elliptic function microstrip filter to enhance the performance of antenna systems. He is also an inventor of a pending Chinese patent application about a securely revocable encryption system in cloud computing.
Neal’s research experience enables him to understand various electrical technologies and smooth his communication with inventors and clients. He has drafted patent applications in multiple technical fields of electrical and mechanical engineering, such as e-cigarette, LiDAR, and telecommunication. He also assisted in the legal research and consultation on technical issues in patent litigation.
Before joining Bayes, Neal interned at a French IP boutique in its China office. He drafted over a dozen of Chinese patent applications and responded to multiple Office Actions before the Patent Office of China. He also participated in a trademark infringement action on behalf of a famous French football club.
